Getting to Spain:
Over 50 million tourists go in and out of Spain every year, making it one of the most visited places in the world. Because Spain is a signatory of the so-called “Shengen Agreement” which allows one to travel around parts of Europe without a visa, going to Spain is simple and hassle-free.

Transportation going in and around Spain is efficient and comfortable. If you're coming from major cities in Europe, it would be best to take the airplane that will bring you to Spain's major cities like Valencia, Madrid, Barcelona and Seville in less than an hour. But if your coming in from nearby France, Portugal or Morocco, you can travel by land, either bringing your own private car, or take the bus which have hourly schedules to Spain.

Another choice is the high-speed train which is part of the EU railway network. Trains are fairly comfortable than buses, and much more relaxing and pleasurable than taking the plane because the whole travel features great sights and scenery. On the whole though, there's not much difference in terms of cost whether you travel by airplane, or bus or train. But the advantages of a land travel lies on your motive in going to Spain-whether to relax and have a grand holiday, or just fly in, take some nice photos and leave.

When already in Spain, the best choice to move around would be the ferries. There are high speed ferries from major ports in Madrid and Barcelona to the islands where the grand beaches are. There are boats and yachts that have first class accomodation and will give you that luxurious, royalty feeling.

Not to mention that the whole travel will be cheaper and less complicated that taking the bus. What's more, travelling by sea will let you see the spectacular Meditteranean Sea, the white beaches and green vegetation in the islands. These journeys will be much more relaxing because you can lounge or lie down while enjoying the sights, less the worries of traffic or bad roads. Not to worry about rough waters, the weather around the Canary Islands and the other islands in the Spanish Riviera is splendid all year round!
