Skiathos Things To Do:
A visit to the beautiful island of Skiathos cannot be complete if you don't get to experience its sensational ambiance and unique sights. Try hopping on a boat and doing that day trip to the neighboring islands of Alonissos and Skopelos. Aside from interacting with the sea and sun, you'll get to meet some friendly Dolphins and take a few souvenir shots with them dancing around the sea. The boat will circle around Alonissos and Patitiri and other small islets belonging to the Sporadic group. If you love pets, then go to the Dog Sanctuary. It is located up at the more beautiful part of Skiathos up at the Kounistras Monastery at the Trolous hill. Another most-visited site in the island is the abandoned city of Kastro located on top of a cliff. Kastro used to be a fortress built to protect the Skiathos people from pirates. Just a precaution, the climb to the place is steep and may require physical fitness.
