Plakias holidays:
Plakias is another wonderful town in Crete. It is in the southern part of the Crete. It is 35 kilometers away from south if Rethymnon. It is a small town but you will feel that it is large because of the many things that you can see and experience while spending your holidays.

Plakias beach is huge. It is one of the largest beaches in Crete. It extends from east to the main village. The beach is not actually good in front of the village. But if you just walked all away going to the east, you will appreciate the beauty of Plakias. The fine sand, as well as the bars and tavern beside the water are really captivating. You can spend your day in sun bathing or you can just sit at the tavern and watch the beauty of the Plakias nature.

There’s also an area for snorkelling activity. The beach is not too crowded that is what it makes very ideal for people who wanted privacy. You can find some showers along the beach way for you to throw out the salts and sand from your body. If you want to play with the water without wearing your swim wear, you can do so at the very far end of the beach where nudists are allowed. There are other nice beaches near Plakias that worth to visit.

Night life in Plakias is not that good. It is place more suitable for family holidays and ideal for relaxing. People who spend their night time here were all contented in watching the beauty of the beach at night. There are only two bars and cafeteria here, but there’s a supermarket, restaurants and taverns, coffee shops and car rentals.
