Westward of the town of Limassol lies a little village called Pissouri. Once a village atop a hill with a fishing jetty downhill by the coast, has now separated into two distinct communities namely the Pissouri Village and the Pissouri Beach.

Most of Pissouri still is a working village of farmers, a number of who has now become involved in farming tourists rather than the vineyards. On the other hand, the Pissouri beach boasts of a clean and safe environment which attracts locals and visitors alike. The bays are partly sand and shingle and various water sports activities are available here during summer. Neither is it boring during winter, where simply eating out in the lull of the beach is just as enjoyable as it is during summer.
