The municipality of Kallithea is home to many temples, monuments and archeological discoveries that played important roles in shaping world history. Built by Italians centuries ago, the Baths have become a haven for relaxation for the locals. But time wore off many of the Baths prompting local tourism authorities to temporarily close the Baths. There is also a mini beach below the Baths where visitors riding small boats usually land to take part in the nightly festivities in Kallithea. Other attractions in Kallithea are the stone pools or springs that are hidden in pine-covered bays and coves.
