Palma Nova Holidays
Palma Nova is a well known and loved holiday resort and is to be found on the Balearic island of Majorca, on the south west coast. It’s handy for Palma airport, only 15 kilometres away, and Palma airport handles many many international flights.

Deals, ohhhh yes! Cheap deals, late deals, all inclusive deals and perhaps a family deal. The resort is full on in the summer holidays with noisy nightlife so if you are looking for a quieter holiday then go any other month than July and August. The entertainments tend then just to be open at weekends for hen and stag parties, and the beach is quieter. So good for a winter sun holiday getaway.

Holidays in Palma Nova – Close to the clubs of Magaluf
Palma Nova is virtually joined onto its close friend, Magaluf. On balance Palma Nova is the quieter of the resorts but quieter can be a misleading description if you choose to go in high season. It has three beaches spread along its seafront which is lined with bars, restaurants and cafes. The Playa Palma is a blue flag beach which is excellent for scuba diving, kite surfing and paragliding. The main occupation in Palma Nova is beach based but there are a couple of water parks nearby in Magaluf and, in fact, you can easily walk to Magaluf.

Palma Nova is full of the young in summer who come for the night-time bars, clubs, karaoke and discos. It’s not quite as lively as Magaluf but then you can easily get to Magaluf if you so wish. The restaurants and cafes stay open late and you will be spoiled for choice with music in the evening.

Holidays in Palma Nova – Plenty of shopping
There is mainly tourist shopping in Palma Nova, with some good clothes shops and supermarkets, banks etc. For top shopping go into Palma a 20 minute drive away.

The climate of Majorca is your typical Mediterranean climate so expect hot summers and mild, wetter, winters. The island is prone to the wind from the north, the Tramontana, which blows year round but is strongest in March.

Palma Nova is up for cheap deals, late deals, all inclusive deals and possibly family deals. If you are a bopper go in July and August for your summer holiday break; if you are older than go for the other months and enjoy some winter sun warmth.
